Qusra residents besieged by Israeli settlers and military forces

In the West Bank village of Qusra, approximately 15 Palestinians, including two children, have been besieged in three homes for over a week by Israeli settlers and military forces. The blockade in the Ras al-Ain area has cut off access to food, water, and electricity, leaving residents in what the United Nations described as a “state of terror.”

While UNICEF teams managed to deliver some food and medical supplies, Israeli military forces reportedly intercepted a water tanker, sustaining the deprivation of essential resources. Municipal workers attempting to repair damaged utility lines faced attacks from settlers, and some were detained by Israeli forces.

Simultaneously, tensions are rising near Ramallah as settlers have begun erecting tents in the Wadi Zeytun area to establish new illegal outposts near Umm Safa and Burqa. If completed, these would increase the number of outposts in the vicinity to six. In separate incidents, Israeli forces arrested nine individuals in Beit Imrin following a settler attack and blocked medical teams from reaching affected areas.
