West Bank sees surge in Israeli settler and military attacks across multiple towns

Over the past 24‑hour period Israeli forces and settler militias intensified operations throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Raids and confrontations were reported in Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, Jenin, Bethlehem and several smaller villages, with soldiers entering towns, setting up roadblocks, and conducting house searches and arrests.

Violence resulted in multiple injuries, including a 16‑year‑old boy shot in the chest in Hebron, a child hit by a settler vehicle in Hebron’s Salima neighbourhood, and a Palestinian driver wounded after a settler‑triggered vehicle overturn in Salfit. Settlers also set fire to agricultural fields, burned livestock pens, and damaged solar panels in villages such as al‑Mughayir, Susiya and Ramim. In Jerusalem, large groups of settlers entered the Al‑Aqsa compound, performing provocative chants under army protection. The coordinated attacks were described by local sources as part of a broader policy to pressure Palestinian residents and expand settlement activity, with no arrests of the perpetrators reported.
