Israeli forces and settlers have intensified attacks against Palestinian olive farmers in the West Bank during the harvest season. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 409 attacks between October 1 and October 21, 2026, including 317 settler-led incidents and 92 involving the Israeli military.

Key regions affected include Nablus, which recorded 166 attacks, and Salfit with 91. Reported violence includes the use of live ammunition, arson of olive groves, theft of crops and equipment, and physical assaults on farmers. The UN Human Rights Office described these actions as tools for displacement and dispossession.

In addition to agricultural targeting, Israeli forces conducted widespread raids and arrests across several cities, including Nablus, Jenin, Hebron, and Tulkarm. In Tulkarm, reports indicated that security forces used a Palestinian citizen as a human shield during searches. In Salwad, approximately 25 Palestinians were detained during field interrogations, with some requiring hospital treatment following physical abuse.
