West Bank: Settler knife attack injures Palestinians near Nablus
Two Palestinians were injured in a knife attack carried out by settlers in the Wadi al-Shaer area near the village of Al-Lubban al-Sharqi, south of Nablus. This incident occurred amid a broader wave of Israeli military raids and settler violence across the West Bank.
Israeli forces conducted multiple incursions into several cities and villages, including Nablus, Tubas, and Ramallah. In Tubas, troops raided the town of Aqaba, resulting in the arrest of Ayman Qasem. In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, military operations targeted the village of Al-Mughayyir. Other raids were reported in towns such as Deir Dibwan, Salwad, and Deir Abu Mashal.
Reports indicate a significant escalation in settler activity, with at least 14 attacks documented on a single Saturday. These attacks included the theft of livestock and damage to infrastructure. Concurrently, Israeli forces carried out arrests in Hebron and Tulkarm, contributing to a period of heightened tension and military presence throughout the region.
