West Bank fires: 900 incidents targeting Palestinian property documented since 2023

The Wall and Settlement Against Resistance Commission has documented 900 fires targeting Palestinian homes, vehicles, and infrastructure in the West Bank between January 2023 and July 10, 2026.

According to the report, settlers were responsible for 799 of these incidents, representing 88.8 percent of the total. The remaining 101 fires, or 11.2 percent, were attributed to the Israeli military. The data shows a rising trend in these attacks, with 217 fires recorded in 2023, 264 in 2024, and 307 in 2025.

The most heavily impacted areas include Nablus, Ramallah, and al-Bireh, which together accounted for 552 incidents, or 61.3 percent of the total documented cases. The commission also noted that these attacks have contributed to the displacement of 121 Palestinian communities, forcing over 6,200 people from their homes.
