West Java government implements digital and infrastructure initiatives

The West Java provincial government is advancing several administrative and physical development projects. The Secretariat of the West Java DPRD has launched a Digital Dashboard for Public Information Services to increase transparency. As of November 1, 2026, the system reported a 99.1 percent completion rate for 220 public information requests.

In terms of infrastructure, the provincial government aims to reconstruct 149.8 kilometers of roads by the end of 2026. This includes road widening, drainage construction, and the repair or replacement of 47 bridges. The government is also working on one flyover and one underpass to improve regional connectivity.

Environmental management is also a priority, with the West Java provincial government and Bekasi Regency collaborating with DKI Jakarta to clear approximately 1,200 cubic meters of waste from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at kilometer 19. Additionally, regional legislators are urging citizens, particularly in Depok, to manage household waste more responsibly to support ecological recovery efforts.
