West Java investment reaches Rp131.62 trillion in Rebana Area
Investment in West Java's Rebana Area has reached Rp131.62 trillion between 2021 and the first half of 2026, employing 320,446 people. This growth is supported by a partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) through the Project for Rebana Area Development, which focuses on industrial integration, logistics connectivity, and the creation of a Green Industry Hub near Patimban International Port.
In Cirebon Regency, investment realization has hit Rp3.23 trillion in the first half of 2026, representing 76.02 percent of the annual target. Local officials expressed optimism that investment could exceed Rp4 trillion by the third quarter. A significant project involves PT Longrich, which has an investment value of over Rp1 trillion and has the potential to employ between 20,000 and 28,000 workers. The local government has requested a commitment that 80 percent of these positions be filled by local labor.
