West Virginia GOP Re-elects Chairman Josh Holstein and Disavows Candidate Elliott Pritt

The West Virginia Republican Party’s State Executive Committee unanimously re‑elected Josh Holstein to a four‑year term as chairman. The meeting also installed a new leadership slate: Tony Hodge as co‑chairman, Kelli Sobonya as secretary and Michele Davis as treasurer.

In the same session the committee voted unanimously to disavow former Fayette County delegate Elliott Pritt, who is in federal custody on charges of grooming a 15‑year‑old. The motion, led by co‑chairman Tony Hodge, marks the first time the party has taken such action and will be forwarded to the State Election Commission to remove Pritt’s party endorsement.
