Western Australia gold projects get drill extensions at Ravensthorpe, Mt Ida

Medallion Metals reported new drilling results from the Gem deposit at its Ravensthorpe Gold Project in Western Australia. Intersections included 4.92 m at 15.5 g/t Au and 0.9% Cu, 0.3 m at 204 g/t Au and 7% Cu, and other high‑grade zones, confirming mineralisation down‑plunge from historic workings and suggesting the area could support future mine‑life extensions.

Ballard Mining announced that drilling at the West Knell target of its Mt Ida gold project extended mineralisation northward and at depth. The best result was 9 m at 27.1 g/t Au from 191 m, with additional hits of 2 m at 5.6 g/t Au and 4 m at 7.2 g/t Au. The drill program has now traced the mineralised corridor for about 1.4 km, bolstering confidence that the fault‑zone could become a camp‑scale gold district feeding a standalone Mt Ida operation.
