Western Greece hosts regional initiatives on employment and health

The Region of Western Greece is hosting several initiatives focused on European cooperation and regional development. The SMART-HUBs project, an Interreg Greece–Italy 2021–2027 cross-border initiative, is organizing an information day to present training and employment opportunities. The project aims to enhance employability for youth, particularly those not in education, employment, or training (NEETs), by leveraging cultural and creative industries and tourism through digital and green transitions.

Additionally, the 6th Health Region held an event titled ‘European Action and Perspective of the 6th Health Region’ to present European Joint Actions and Interreg VI-A Greece–Italy programs. The initiative, supported by the Region of Western Greece and the University of Patras, focuses on promoting public health, innovation, and reducing health inequalities through European programs such as HaDEA.
