With Western Sydney International Airport scheduled to open on October 25, transport details for passengers have been released. Privately operated Super Shuttle electric buses will provide direct links to Parramatta, Central Station, and Kingsford Smith Airport.

Adult one-way fares for the Super Shuttle to Central Station are $55, while a trip to Kingsford Smith Airport via the CBD will cost $65. A direct service to the Parramatta CBD is priced at $25 for adults. Travel times for these shuttle services range from 30 minutes to 75 minutes depending on the destination and traffic.

Due to the delay of the multibillion-dollar metro rail line until at least December next year, the NSW government will provide free bus services every 30 minutes between the airport terminal and St Marys. From St Marys, passengers can transfer to double-deck trains to reach Central Station, with peak period adult fares costing $8.28.
