Western Union and JuanPay partner to expand remittance access in the Philippines

Western Union and JuanPay have announced a partnership to expand access to international money transfer services across the Philippines. The collaboration aims to provide more convenient remittance options for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families, particularly those in provincial areas or communities far from traditional bank branches.

The initial rollout will include approximately 1,400 selected locations from JuanPay’s network of 2,000 company-owned and franchised outlets. JuanPay, a subsidiary of the ACM Group of Companies, already provides various services such as bill payments, loan payments, and government transactions. The partnership intends to gradually extend these international services to more locations within the network.
