WhatsApp adds car‑screen calling and AI sticker tools
WhatsApp released an update that lets drivers place voice calls and answer messages directly from a vehicle’s infotainment screen, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature enables hands‑free communication without reaching for a phone, with call history and favorite contacts accessible on the car display.
At the same time, the company expanded its sticker capabilities, providing several ways for users to create custom stickers. Users can now design stickers from photos, use AI to generate stickers by typing a description, and employ WhatsApp Web, desktop, or third‑party apps to build animated or static sticker packs.
These additions aim to enhance user convenience both on the road and within chat conversations.
