WhatsApp Business adds automatic replies and in‑app polls

WhatsApp Business now supports automated messaging, allowing users to set away messages, welcome greetings and quick replies for specific contacts and time periods. The feature is available for free on Android and iPhone and is aimed at shops, professionals, medical offices and other small enterprises that need to acknowledge messages when they cannot reply instantly.

In addition, WhatsApp has introduced an integrated polling tool. Users can create a poll within a chat, add up to twelve answer options and view real‑time results. Polls work on iPhone, Android, WhatsApp Web and desktop apps, making the platform a lightweight coordination space for groups and private conversations.
