WhatsApp expands group tools and business features

Later in July, Meta released a native WhatsApp Business desktop application for Windows and macOS, alongside continued web access. The desktop client mirrors the phone‑linked experience, requiring a QR‑code scan and syncing only while the phone stays online. A tutorial demonstrated how to create a no‑code, 24/7 AI‑powered customer‑service bot using the n8n automation platform, the WhatsApp Cloud API, and OpenAI’s GPT‑4o‑mini. The workflow classifies incoming messages, replies automatically, escalates urgent issues to Telegram, and logs interactions to Google Sheets.
