White House Historical Association unveils Trump-style Oval Office replica

The White House Historical Association has unveiled an overhaul of its full-scale Oval Office replica at The People’s House: A White House Experience in Washington, D.C. The new exhibit is designed to match the second-term aesthetic of Donald Trump, featuring extensive gold leaf, gold trim, and brass accents.

In contrast to the more understated decor of previous administrations, the replica includes approximately two dozen portraits in heavy carved frames, depicting historical figures such as George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, and Ronald Reagan. The display also features a bust of Theodore Roosevelt and a copy of the Declaration of Independence. The museum, located near the actual White House, offers an interactive experience including an orientation film narrated by Martin Sheen.
