White Knight Corps conducts counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have intensified counter-terrorism efforts, including a joint operation in Udhampur that resulted in the neutralization of two terrorists. The operation, conducted by the White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the CRPF, took place in the Brattal area of Udhampur during the night of September 16–17, 2026. Despite difficult terrain and poor visibility, the targeted intelligence-based mission successfully addressed confirmed reports of terrorist presence.

In a separate development, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps conducted a review of security operations in the Surankote sector of the Poonch district. The visit focused on the Pir Panjal belt, emphasizing intelligence-driven operations, inter-agency coordination, and maintaining dominance over the Pir Panjal Range. The review assessed troop preparedness and measures to prevent terrorist elements from gaining operational space in the challenging terrain.
