Who Wants to Be a Millionaire celebrates 25 years in Bulgaria

The game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ (Стани богат) is returning to bTV this autumn for a special season celebrating its 25th anniversary in Bulgaria.

For the first time, contestants will be given the power to choose their own rules before the first question is asked. Participants can decide whether to play using the classic rules from the show’s early seasons or the modern version. The classic format offers a chance to compete for a special prize of 125,000 euros using three traditional lifelines. In contrast, the modern version provides contestants with greater flexibility in how they select their lifelines.

Host Niki Knchev noted that while the game evolves over time, the value of knowledge remains constant. The anniversary season is expected to include various surprises for both viewers and contestants.
