Overview

The television game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire!’ is returning to bTV this autumn to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Bulgaria. Hosted by Niki Kanchev, the jubilee season is scheduled to air every weekday at 18:00 starting September 7.

A new feature for this season allows contestants to select their preferred gameplay format before starting. The ‘classic’ version utilizes original rules and three traditional lifelines—‘50:50’, ‘Phone a Friend’, and ‘Ask the Audience’—with a special prize of 125,000 euros. Alternatively, the ‘modern’ version offers increased flexibility, allowing players to choose three out of four lifelines and set their own second guaranteed sum.

The anniversary season will also incorporate questions regarding the history of the program, including its creator and significant moments from its 25-year run in the country.
