Wide‑range political and cultural events slated for Bosnia and Herzegovina on 8 June 2026

On 8 June 2026 a series of high‑profile events is scheduled across Bosnia and Herzegovina. At 13:00 the state road company “Auoputevi Republike Srpske” will unveil a new visual identity in Banja Luka, attended by RS Prime Minister Savo Minić. The Association of Writers of Republika Srpska will present its annual book award later that evening.

In Pale a new bicycle route “Điro di ‘ćiro’ Sarajevo‑Pale” will be opened with speeches from EU Delegation Head Luis Sorek, the mayors of East Sarajevo and Sarajevo, and local officials. At noon in Sarajevo, Deputy PM Borjana Krišto will meet Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and a research centre ceremony organized by the Chinese embassy will host delegations from Beijing.
