Wildfires have flared up in the Genoa region of Italy due to strong winds. In the Pra’ area, specifically in the Branega locality, flames that were previously declared under control on Saturday night have been reignited. Residents in the valley have reported heavy smoke and haze.
Simultaneously, a second active fire front is being fought in the woods of Rossiglione, specifically in the Zucca-Asmetta area near Poggio. Firefighters and forest fire volunteers are working on the ground, supported by regional helicopters performing water drops.
