In Mytyka, a fire started at approximately 13:50. Firefighting efforts in both locations involved significant resources, including ground crews, water tankers, and aerial support. The Hellenic National Defence General Staff deployed two Chinook helicopters to assist with aerial firefighting.

As of the latest reports, the situation at both fire fronts has improved, with authorities working to contain scattered hotspots. Separately, the Fire Service reported that 23 wildfires occurred across Greece within the last 24 hours, 20 of which were addressed immediately. The Evia Arson Crimes Department is currently investigating the causes of the fires.
