In the United States, researchers at Yellowstone National Park have observed the regrowth of trees in areas where no new vegetation had appeared for over 80 years. Scientists suggest this ecological shift may be linked to changing climate conditions, soil improvement, or the indirect effects of predator reintroduction, such as wolves.
