Windpark Forsthövel in Herbern, Germany, Fully Operational with All Three Turbines

The Windpark Forsthövel located in Herbern, Germany, has completed construction and is now fully operational. The third wind turbine was commissioned on 28 July, bringing all three turbines into continuous power generation. The municipality of Ascheberg reported that the overall schedule was maintained despite a slight delay, and the early electricity output has been described as "erfreulich" (pleasing).

While the turbines are running, ancillary works continue, including the renewal of sections of Forsthöveler Straße that were used during construction. The local grid operator Westnetz may temporarily shut down turbines if supply exceeds demand to relieve the network. Nearby, the Windpark Holthoff is also progressing, with half of its towers erected and concrete components completed.
