Wine festivals scheduled for Bariloche and Guatemala

Major wine events are scheduled in Argentina and Guatemala. In Bariloche, Argentina, the Chachingo Wine Fair will hold its sixth 2026 date on September 11 at the Sheraton Hotel. Created by winemaker Alejandro Vigil, María Sance, and Fernando Gabrielli, the itinerant fair aims to showcase Argentina's diverse wine production by featuring 40 wineries from across the country. The event includes a collaborative gastronomic experience designed by the Casa Vigil team and the hotel.

In Guatemala, the Vendimia Fest 2026 is set to take place on September 25 at Casa Ariana. Marking the 20th anniversary of Corchos, this event will serve as the country's first international wine fair. The festival will feature more than 30 international wineries and over 120 different wines. Activities include live music and a blind tasting competition where participants can win prizes by identifying grape varieties, countries, and regions.
