Overview

In the Patagonia region, the viticultural sector continues to gain prominence within the tourism industry. In Villa La Angostura, a regional gastronomy and wine fair is scheduled at the Arrayanes Convention and Congress Center. Designed as an ‘after ski’ attraction, the event will showcase nine wineries from the Neuquén province, including Sudoeste, Mabellini, Malma, Schroeder, Patritti, Estancia Chimehuín, Aicardi, Fincas del Limay, and Cutral Co. Local chefs will pair these wines with regional ingredients such as lamb, trout, and mushrooms to highlight the growing importance of Neuquén’s viticulture.

Expansion of these events continues with the sixth 2026 edition of the Chachingo Wine Fair, scheduled for September 11 in Bariloche at the Sheraton Hotel. Created by Alejandro Vigil, María Sance, and Fernando Gabrielli, this itinerant fair aims to showcase Argentina’s diverse production by featuring 40 wineries from across the country, alongside a collaborative gastronomic experience designed by the Casa Vigil team and the hotel.
