Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary merchandise launches in Japan

Various companies in Japan are launching commemorative merchandise to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original Winnie the Pooh debut.

BANDAI SPIRITS has begun the sequential release of the ‘Ichiban Kuji Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary’ lottery, priced at 790 yen per draw. Available at retailers such as Seven-Eleven and Ito-Yokado, the lineup includes art posters, book-shaped lights, plush mascots, and various character figures. A special ‘Last One Prize’ features a high-quality rose boa plush.

Simultaneously, Aeon Fantasy is introducing a massive collection of 100 different Winnie the Pooh mascots across its amusement facilities, including Molly Fantasy and PALO, as well as the Molly Online crane game service. The collection features Pooh in various costumes, such as honey pot or pumpkin themes, alongside characters like Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore. Aeon Fantasy is also running promotional campaigns, including a chance to win trading cards and a social media giveaway for a complete prize set.
