Winnie the Pooh celebrates 100th anniversary with new goods and collaborations

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original Winnie the Pooh, Kodansha will release a special mook book titled ‘Winnie the Pooh Original 100th Anniversary Goods Collection’ on September 15. The publication features 1,053 selected items, ranging from premium goods like commemorative coins and pure gold koban to lifestyle products such as kitchenware, apparel, and jewelry. The book includes a unique cover design that reveals a plush Pooh face when the band is removed, as well as a miniature book supplement.

Additionally, Disney Japan has released a vlog-style video on social media depicting a day in the life of Winnie the Pooh, which has gained significant attention online for its relaxing content. As part of the anniversary celebrations, a collaborative project titled ‘SHOWER OF HEART’ featuring figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu will launch on October 2. This exhibition and product line will tour six cities across Japan, starting at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, and will feature over 100 types of limited-edition merchandise.
