Winnipeg Blue Bombers face do-or-die matchup against BC Lions

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers face a critical regular-season finale against the BC Lions in Vancouver. With an 8-9 record, the Blue Bombers must win the game to secure a postseason spot, whereas the Lions (10-7) have already finalized second place in the West Division.

Because the Lions have nothing to play for in the standings, they are expected to rest key starters, including star quarterback Nathan Rourke. Backup quarterback Kaidon Salter is slated to start for BC. Salter previously led the Lions to a 35-19 victory over Winnipeg in July, a game in which the Blue Bombers surrendered a franchise-record 377 rushing yards.

Winnipeg's season hinges on this performance, with running back Brady Oliveira emphasizing the team's determination to compete in the post-season.
