Wiz releases cloud threat intelligence and compensation reports

Wiz has released several new resources and reports focused on the cloud security sector. The company has launched the Wiz Cloud Threat Landscape, a public version of its internal threat intelligence database. This resource provides insights into security incidents, targeting patterns, and threat actor profiles to assist in risk assessment and threat modeling.

In market evaluations, Wiz received the highest score in the Forrester Wave for Cloud Workload Security (CWS), Q1 2024, marking the company’s first appearance in the report.

Additionally, Wiz published a cloud security compensation report based on data from over 3,500 companies. The findings indicate that the finance industry offers the highest median total rewards for entry, intermediate, and senior cloud security engineers. Conversely, the retail sector provides the most competitive median total rewards for senior and executive Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), with executive roles reaching a median of $510,000.
