Wizz Air adds new Romanian routes and hires crew in Moldova
Wizz Air announced the launch of two new winter 2026‑27 routes from Romania: Bucharest‑Otopeni to Almeria will start on 26 October and Brașov to Valencia on 3 November. The additions raise the airline’s Romanian network to 226 routes from 14 airports, linking passengers to 83 destinations across 27 countries. Wizz Air operates a fleet of 270 Airbus aircraft and carried 69.7 million passengers in fiscal 2026; it is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol WIZZ.
The carrier is also expanding its workforce in the Republic of Moldova, organising a recruitment session for flight attendants on 17 July at Hotel Time in Chișinău. The event outlines job responsibilities, selection criteria and required training for candidates seeking a career in aviation.
