Wizz Air adds new Spain route and makes Slovakia service year‑round from Poland
Wizz Air announced that it will open a new direct flight from Poland to a popular Spanish tourist region, with the first service scheduled for 2026. Ticket sales have already begun, and the airline expects the connection to increase passenger traffic at the Polish airport and boost tourism to the Spanish destination.
The carrier also reported strong demand for its Gdańsk‑Poprad route, which was originally a seasonal winter service. Because of high usage by both Polish and Slovak travelers, Wizz Air has extended the route to operate year‑round and increased the frequency from two to three flights per week, a schedule that will remain in place for several years.
