Wizz Air adds six new Italian routes and launches Lamezia Terme‑Milan, Lamezia Terme‑Turin flights
Wizz Air will expand its Italian network with several new routes in 2026. Starting 25 October 2026, the airline will operate a daily flight between Lamezia Terme International Airport and Milan Malpensa and five weekly flights to Turin, with tickets on sale from 24 July 2026 at fares from €19.99.
In December 2026 the carrier will launch six additional routes from its major Italian bases: a daily Milan – Berlin service, twice‑daily Milan – Cagliari, a daily Venice Marco Polo – Cagliari flight, twice‑weekly Rome – Santiago de Compostela, twice‑weekly Milan – Tromsø and three‑weekly Naples – Hurghada. An Airbus A321neo will be stationed at Milan Malpensa, raising the local fleet to 12 aircraft and creating about 40 direct jobs and over 350 indirect positions. The expansion will raise Wizz Air’s 2026 seat capacity to more than 32.4 million, a 21 % increase on the previous year, and will see the airline operate 55 routes to 24 countries from Milan, offering 5.6 million seats.
