Wizz Air expands Milan Malpensa base to 11 aircraft, adds four European and African routes

Wizz Air and SEA Milan Airport announced a new investment at Milan Malpensa Airport. From 14 September the airline will increase the number of aircraft based at the Italian hub from ten to eleven, marking the 11th plane stationed there. The expansion will be used to launch four new international routes: Santander and Saragossa in Spain, Porto in Portugal, and Agadir‑Al Massira in Morocco. The airline’s chief commercial officer, Malin, said fuel costs are under control, underscoring the company’s confidence in the new services. The move strengthens Wizz Air’s presence in Italy and broadens its network across Southern Europe and North Africa.
