Wizz Air expands operations in Tenerife and Pristina

Wizz Air is expanding its network through new operations in both Spain and Kosovo. In Tenerife, the airline has officially launched services at Tenerife North Airport, establishing its first domestic route in the archipelago connecting the island to Santiago de Compostela. The airline aims to transport over 3.6 million passengers via seven routes across four countries by 2026 using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Simultaneously, Wizz Air is strengthening its presence at Pristina Airport by establishing a new base. This expansion includes stationing an Airbus A321neo aircraft and launching three new routes, including services to Charleroi, Baden Baden, and Basel, while increasing flight frequencies to Dortmund. The airline expects to become the largest scheduled carrier at Pristina Airport, offering approximately 615,000 seats this year.
