Wizz Air launches new routes to Chișinău and Berlin for 2026

Wizz Air announced two new year‑round services as part of its 2026 network expansion. The airline will start flights from London Gatwick to Moldova's capital, Chișinău, on 25 October 2026, operating four times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) with fares from £36.99. Managing director Yvonne Moynihan said the route gives UK customers “another opportunity to discover Chișinău”.

A second addition is a Vilnius‑Berlin connection beginning on 27 October 2026, offering three weekly flights (Mon, Wed, Fri) at prices starting at €19.99. Corporate communications head Salvatore Gabriele Imperiale highlighted the route’s role in “strengthening connectivity from Vilnius”. The airline emphasized the use of fuel‑efficient aircraft and its commitment to affordable European travel.
