Wizz Air shifts London flights to a single terminal and logs record on‑time performance

Wizz Air announced that all London‑bound and inbound flights will use Budapest Airport’s Terminal 1 from May 29 through May 31. The airline asked passengers to verify their terminal information, noted that digital boarding passes will display the change, and warned of longer travel times to the airport due to increased traffic and road restrictions. A free shuttle between Terminals 1 and 2 will operate over the weekend to ease congestion.

Separately, the carrier reported that it completed 99.53 % of the flights scheduled in the first four months of the year, placing it among Europe’s most reliable airlines. Delays over three hours affected only 0.1 % of flights, and on‑time departures in the early morning wave were also among the best in the region. Wizz Air said it has refined crew rostering, aircraft rotation and customer‑service processes to sustain stability during the upcoming summer peak season.
