Wizz Air to launch 28 weekly flights between Lamezia Terme and Rome

Wizz Air has announced the launch of 28 weekly flights connecting Lamezia Terme International Airport to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Bookings for the new route are available starting October 25.

Calabria Regional President Roberto Occhiuto presented the initiative, noting that the increased frequency is intended to improve regional mobility and accessibility. The new service aims to provide more flexible and affordable travel options, specifically benefiting students from Calabria who attend universities in Rome and central Italy. The president highlighted that the increased availability of flights and competitive pricing, such as example fares of 32 euros, serves as a concrete fulfillment of regional administration commitments to enhance local connectivity.
