Wizz Air to launch direct Prague-Sarajevo flights

Wizz Air will launch a new direct flight connection between Prague and Sarajevo starting December 18, 2026. This marks the return of direct air travel between the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina after nearly 20 years.

The service will operate year-round using Airbus A321neo aircraft. During the winter schedule, flights will run on Mondays and Fridays. The summer schedule will expand to include Wednesday rotations. Flight times are approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes to Prague and slightly less when traveling to Sarajevo.

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Prague noted that the new route is expected to facilitate tourism, economic cooperation, and personal connections between the two nations.
