Wolters Kluwer Executes €13.1M Share Repurchase in €500M 2026 Buyback Program
Wolters Kluwer reported that it repurchased 212,408 ordinary shares between May 28 and June 3, 2026 for €13.1 million at an average price of €61.44 per share. The transaction is part of a share‑buyback programme announced earlier in the year that authorises up to €500 million of repurchases in 2026.
To date in 2026 the company has bought back 2,708,723 shares for €189.9 million. A third‑party agent has been engaged to execute €80 million of buybacks between May 7 and August 3, 2026. Repurchased shares are held as treasury stock and will be used for a future capital‑reduction through cancellation.
Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information, software and services, reported 2025 revenues of €6.1 billion and serves customers in more than 180 countries. The firm is headquartered in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands.
