Manavgat motorcycle crash kills driver, injures passenger
On the early hours of 4 July 2026 a motorcycle collided with a stationary car in the emergency lane of the D‑400 highway in Manavgat, Antalya Province, Turkey. The rider, 35‑year‑old Murat Güneri, died at the scene while his passenger, Dilek Güneri, was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Security‑camera footage captured the impact. Police found the car driver, identified only as Ş. T., with a blood‑alcohol level of 0.67 ‰.
