Women Police Boost Safety and Cleanliness on Tekirdağ’s Değirmenaltı Beach

Women police officers from the Tekirdağ Provincial Police carried out a summer‑season outreach on Değirmenaltı Beach in the district of Süleymanpaşa. The teams visited the beach strip, the sand area and adjacent businesses, handing out informational brochures that stress environmental cleanliness, noise reduction, public order and penalties under the Turkish Minor Offences Law.

The leaflets advise citizens and shop owners to avoid littering, loud music and other disruptive behaviour, and to report incidents to the 112 emergency line or the police’s WhatsApp hotline (0 (552) 155 59 59). Police officials said inspections will continue throughout the season to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for families and tourists.
