Women's leadership and entrepreneurship awards held in Seville and Melilla

Several awards ceremonies in Spain have recently honored women for their achievements in leadership, entrepreneurship, and various professional sectors.

In Seville, the VIII University, Woman and Business Awards, organized by the Social Council of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in collaboration with the Diputación de Sevilla and Fundación Cajasol, recognized six women. The recipients include Carmen Vargas Macías in the STEM category, Pilar Manchón in Business Management, Ana Molina Jurado and Rocío Peralta in Entrepreneurship, Pastora Soler in Arts and Culture, and the Club Agrupación Voleibol Esquimo Dos Hermanas in Sports.

Additionally, the first Entrepreneurship and Female Leadership Awards were held in Melilla. Originally an initiative from Andalusia, the event expanded to the North African city through a collaboration involving Combo Comunicación, the Foro de Mujeres Líderes de Andalucía, Activas Melilla, and the Ministry of Economy. The ceremony recognized the professional trajectories of Victoria Gaitán, Layla Dris, Yasmin Tahriou, and Arkia Bunuar across diverse fields such as technology, culture, and sports.
