Women's leadership gatherings held in Eskişehir and Trabzon, Turkey

Two women's leadership events took place in Turkey this week. In Eskişehir, the Turkey Soroptimist Clubs Federation hosted a "Kadın Liderlerle Dönüşüm Buluşmaları" program where federation president Canan Güllü and local officials discussed gender equality, women's rights and the role of women in decision‑making. The gathering emphasized that women's participation is essential for fair and sustainable development.

In Trabzon, the AK Party women's branch organized the "Gönülden Gönüle Kuşak Köprüsü" picnic, bringing together women from different generations of the party. Participants expressed support for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the "Turkey Century" goals while sharing experiences and reinforcing party unity.

Both events aimed to raise the visibility of women in public life and strengthen networks among female leaders across civil society and politics.
