World Climbing Series Speed stage concludes in Guiyang

The fifth stage of the World Climbing Series Speed competition has concluded in Guiyang, China. The event featured high-level performances from international athletes, though no Italian competitors reached the podium.

In the men's individual speed category, Indonesia's Robby al Hilmi secured victory, taking the top spot in the overall rankings. The podium was completed by Chinese climbers Ling and Chu. Notable performances included Zhao, who set a time of 4.64 seconds, and American Watson at 4.79 seconds.

Italian climbers saw mixed results. Matteo Zurloni placed 12th in qualifications and reached the quarterfinals before finishing 13th. Luca Robbiati and Francesco Ponzinibio reached the round of 16 but were hindered by technical errors during their heats. In the women's qualifications, Giulia Randi placed 14th and Beatrice Colli 19th, while Emma Hunt led the group with a time of 6.07 seconds.

The circuit now moves to the sixth stage, scheduled to take place in Chongqing this weekend.
