Overview

The fifth stage of the World Climbing Series speed climbing competition concluded in Guiyang, China, following events held from September 11 to 13, 2026. The competition featured 101 athletes from 24 nations.

In the men’s individual speed category, Indonesia’s Robby al Hilmi secured victory, followed by Chinese climbers Ling and Chu. Other results included two gold medals for Indonesia and two bronze medals for South Korea. Italian competitors, including Matteo Zurloni, Luca Robbiati, and Francesco Ponzinibio, reached the quarterfinals or round of 16 but did not reach the podium. The circuit is scheduled to proceed to its sixth stage in Chongqing.
