World Day Against Trafficking Prompts Global Anti‑Trafficking Actions

On July 30, 2026, the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons spurred coordinated anti‑trafficking initiatives in multiple regions. In Maputo, Mozambique, the All Africa Conference of Churches convened a three‑day national consultation (July 29‑31) titled “Combating Irregular Migration among Children and Youth to Counter Human Trafficking.” The event gathered church leaders, government officials, parliamentarians, child‑protection practitioners, civil‑society groups and survivors.
