World French Fry Day celebrations drive food promotions in Mexico and Chile
In celebration of World French Fry Day on August 20, various food brands and franchises in Mexico and Chile are highlighting the popularity of French fries through quality standards and special promotions.
In Mexico, McDonald’s emphasizes its production process, which relies on natural ingredients and careful cooking to achieve texture and color without artificial additives. The company acquires approximately 13,000 tons of potatoes annually in the country.
In Chile, the gastronomic holding G&N Brands reported that over 15 million servings of French fries were consumed nationwide last year. To commemorate the occasion, its brands—including Doggis, Juan Maestro, Mamut, and Barrio Chick’en—are offering various promotions between August 17 and August 21. These include deals such as ‘buy two, get one free’ offers, free second portions via mobile apps, and cheese refills on appetizers.
