WorldSBK 2027 calendar introduces Shanghai debut and schedule shifts

The WorldSBK 2027 calendar features significant changes, including the debut of the Shanghai International Circuit in China. This move by Dorna, the commercial rights holder, aims to expand the championship's presence in the Asian market, providing manufacturers like Ducati, BMW, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Honda direct exposure to a major consumer base.

In Europe, the Czech Republic will host the WorldSBK round at Autodrom Most from June 4 to 6, 2027. This date shift is intended to provide better weather conditions for fans and improved weekend programming. The event will also include WorldSSP, the WorldWCR women's championship, and the Yamaha Cup. Meanwhile, the Spanish calendar will see Valencia return while the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit is removed from the schedule.
