Wrestling community rallies to support Tanea Brooks following ALS diagnosis

The professional wrestling community is mobilizing to support Tanea Brooks, known as Rebel, following her diagnosis of terminal ALS.

DREAM Pro Wrestling, operated by AEW star Truth Magnum, recently raised $7,181 through a special benefit event held in late July. This contribution follows a broader trend of wrestlers, promotions, and fans launching fundraising efforts and awareness campaigns for Brooks.

AEW President Tony Khan announced that the promotion will host a special edition of Dynamite titled ‘AEW: Rebel Heart’ on September 9 at the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia. The event is dedicated to Brooks and aims to raise funds to fight ALS.
